I feel immensely proud and privileged in addressing you in the e-platform of our college. The Government Arts and Science College at Thirumangalam, Madurai, functions with the prime motto to uplift and provide equal opportunity for the first-generation learners, uplifting them from the southern hamlets to the higher education institutes. The college not only imparts academic education but also encourages the students’ overall development in curricular and co-curricular activities to achieve the goal of value-based education. We value academic integrity and accountability. We integrate social responsibility through multifarious activities that include NSS, YUVA chapter, Tourism Club, Youth Red Cross, and Rotaract Club, and nurture the professional and leadership skills of the young learners.
We march ahead and gear up to meet various economic, social and environmental challenges faced by the youth today and prepare them for a better tomorrow. I take this opportunity to thank all our stakeholders, faculty members and non-teaching staff, students and parent community, and most importantly the neighbouring academia, industry and professional partners for contributing to realizing the objectives of the budding institution.
